CIT Racing - Shanghai

Following our incredible first two days exploring and eating our way through Shanghai, our real work started – meeting our Formula Student counterparts in Chinese universities. A 2-hour coach drive took us to Changshu Institute of Technology, home to CIT Racing. We spent our first half of the day introducing ourselves with our prepared presentations. The second half of the first day was spent on a tour of their facilities and campus. We also discussed aspect of their car’s design, and some of the issues they have had. It was a rewarding experience trying to overcome the language barrier when explaining technical ideas!

Our second day with CIT was great fun, having the chance to try out their kart that they use for driver development! It was a great fun!

For the time that we were in China, we ate incredible food and were treated to some brilliant banquets. Our time at CIT was no different, having a banquet meal with notable figures from their university on each night that we were in Changsu.
