Hey all!

Following our entry into the 2020 Formula Student virtual competition (and our first-place victory in the endurance event!) we’ve had to make some major changes to how we’re running things internally for the near future.

The team would like to thank the IMechE for providing us with our first trophy. We would also like to thank them and all the relevant parties involved for the effort they put in to make sure that FSUK 2020 competition continued despite the challenges faced. We would also like to extend our appreciation to Liverpool John Moores University for their ongoing support during these unpredictable times.

With LJMU still closed for business, the team has switched to online working – using Zoom, Teams, and other online platforms to organise and communicate. While this is not ideal, there is still a lot of work to do and we’d love to get a lot of groundwork and preparation finished off before we can get back into the workshops we know and love.

Kicking off the academic year, we’ve had a very successful recruitment meeting (Hosted via Teams) and will hopefully bring a wide array of fresh talent into the team! Once the new members have found their feet, it will be full steam ahead with our design work to complete and refine our 2021 competition entry.
